ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT



He/she reports to the General Management of the LaSalle Club.


Description of the position:

The duties of the administrative assistant may vary depending on the level of experience of the person in charge of the position. However, the classic missions of administrative assistance are the follow-up of regular files, the drafting of minutes, the administrative support of the projects of the club, the management of the emails, the telephone and physical reception of the public:


Description of administrative duties:

  • Greet visitors and provide information

  • Write the monthly newsletter in collaboration with the area coordinators

  • Ensure the coordination and administrative follow-up of all strategic files, emails and other

  • Coordinate the circulation of information internally and externally to other departments and organizations

  • Write summary notes, minutes, etc.

  • Transmit telephone calls, ensure that messages are taken down in order to provide a response within a reasonable timeframe

  • Organize meetings, conferences and events in support of other club departments

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director.


Required Skills:

  • Have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position

  • Be bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)

  • Master the writing aspect

  • Have a very good knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Outlook and Word)

  • Be able to work independently and in a team with a good sense of priorities

  • Have a good sense of synthesis

  • Be serious, dynamic, organized, rigorous and have good interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of soccer is an asset



Job Description:

  • Job Title: Administrative Assistant

  • Nature of position: Permanent Partial

  • Number of hours: 22 hours per week ($17.50/hour) (possibility of overtime and weekends on occasion)

  • 2 weeks of vacation (holiday break)

  • Immediate supervisor: General Management

  • Deadline to apply: April 10, 2023

  • Probationary period: 3 months

  • Face to face/telework to be defined
